New Twitter Tools for B2B Marketing

Twitter tools for B2B marketers

If you are a B2B marketer, you probably have a good understanding of just how important Twitter is to your business. With 200 million active users, Twitter has become the premier social network for discovering and engaging in conversation that relates to your business and industry. However, in order to make the most of your Twitter presence, it is important to ensure you are making the right moves and utilizing the best tools.

Two Twitter tools have been released that make measuring the success of your Twitter presence easier and more efficient. The first is HubSpot’s RetweetLab, which analyzes any Twitter account to assess the data you need to gain more retweets.

This new instrument will analyze all of your tweets and breakdown the number of retweets you received through a variety of different categories. For instance, RetweetLab will assess the time of day you tweet and tell you when you received the most retweets during a specific time of day. ‘Questions’ is an additional category that is able to tell you whether or not posing questions in your tweets increased your retweet rate. Utilizing RetweetLab is a fantastic way to better understand how your behavior on Twitter affects the retweet rate and how you can increase it by altering a few practices.

A second tool is Twitter’s own Twitter for Business. Twitter recently re-launched this resource in order to help marketers better understand how to leverage Twitter for optimal results. This tool has a variety of helpful information, including: Twitter basics, success stories, Twitter marketing tactics, and building a Twitter community. Whether you are just showing up to the Twitter party or you’re an old pro who just needs to refresh your skillset, Twitter for Business has information that caters to just about everyone.

As a B2B marketer, it is important to take advantage of Twitter in order to get the word out about your business as well as establish yourself as a thought leader and industry listener by engaging in current conversations.
